Wendy Hanes is a born organiser who grew up in a family of clutter bugs and has a lifetime of experience in creating order out of chaos! (Her mother is still convinced her prescription bottles from the 1960’s will be a collector’s item one day and her Grandmother could never pass up a bargain even if she had absolutely no use for the item and would have to rent additional storage space to keep it). She is also a wife, mother and dog owner and understands the dynamics of a busy family.
Wendy has a Bachelor of Commerce and spent twelve years in marketing positions with Mars Confectionery of Australia and BMG. After starting a family the thought of returning to corporate life filled her with dread, so she decided to turn her passion for creating orderly environments into a professional organising service.
Wendy Hanes is the current Secretary of the Australasian Association of Professional Organisers (AAPO) and the leader of AAPO’s Melbourne Chapter. She has been operating as a Professional Organiser in Melbourne since February 2006 and was recently awarded the Inaugural President’s Award (2008) in recognition of outstanding work in the industry of Professional Organising and within AAPO
